Council By-Election 2010
Voting kits are in the mail for the by-election to fill the seat on Council vacated by Dr. Larry Alteen.
Correction: All physicians currently holding a license in Newfoundland and Labrador will receive the voting kits and are eligible to vote in the by-election.
In alphabetical order, the candidates are:
- Dr. John Campbell
- Dr. Ghulam Dogar, and,
- Dr. Robert Russell
Ballots must be received at the College office or be postmarked no later than August 3, 2010. Ballots received after that date or ballot return envelopes postmarked after that date will not be counted.
The voting kit contains a ballot, a ballot envelope, an election return envelope, a biographical profile of each candidate and a memorandum from the Registrar describing the voting procedure.
